- Two industry events
- Three resources and/or tools
- One venture fund

Don’t forget, only paid members get full access to the list plus 24/7 access to the On The Ball + digital hub featuring a full events calendar, grants database and more.

So, let’s get into it:

The 28th TAFISA World Congress will take place in November this year in Düsseldorf, Germany, and topics include peace-building through sport, women and girls participation, sport and the climate crisis and many others across three days. You can expect opportunities to network with hundreds of national and international federations, Olympic committees and grassroots organisations. Student tickets are priced at €200, non-members at €570, and TAFISA members at €470. Discounts are available if you book this week.

London-based sport for development charity Fight 4 Change are currently looking for an organisation or consultant to assess and evaluate the impact of their Lambeth Young Advisors programme, which has been in operation since 2020. The budget for the evaluation is £10,000+VAT, and please note that the deadline for proposals is actually the 20th July, not May as stated in the tender document.

The Anchor Foundation awards of up to £12,000 to projects delivering social inclusion all over the world. Sport and physical activity related programmes have been funded several times in the past, with sailing projects cited on the Foundation’s website. Applications are considered at twice yearly Trustee meetings, usually held in April & October and deadlines for receipt of applications are the 31st January and 31st July respectively.

The Empowering Young People programme delivered by the National Lottery Community Fund in Northern Ireland will make grants of up to £500,000 each into projects that help young people develop new skills, improve relationships and support greater health and wellbeing. The Fund is particularly interested in proposals that involve young people in the development, design, running and evaluation of the project. You can apply at any time.
