On The Ball is a fortnightly newsletter brought to you by our team at Remedy. We curate funding opportunities, competitions and networking events in sport for good so that you don’t have to.

This week we have 13 opportunities for you to consider. Don’t forget, only paid members get full access to the list.

So, let’s get into it:

The Leatherseller's Applications reopened this week for the Leatherseller's 'ACEs Main Grants Programme'. Multi-year, unrestricted grants (up to four years) of £20,000 to £25,000 per year are available for charities and CIOs across the UK with a core focus of preventing/reducing the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) by delivering services for children, young people and adults. Eligible applicants must be able to demonstrate that the majority of beneficiaries have experienced ACEs, or are supporting those who have, and they must use a trauma-informed approach with evidence-based interventions. In particular, applications from organisations working with under-represented groups are encouraged to apply. The deadline to submit expressions of interest is 5pm on Wednesday, April 30th 2025.

YouthTown Trust supports non-profits and community organisations in New Zealand that help young people raise their aspirations, realise their potential, and have their achievements recognised. The Trust distributes gaming funds across the country to ensure they make the greatest impact - for the recipient organisation as well as the communities they serve. Eligible use of funds include: developing Youthtown programmes and facilities, enhancing amateur/recreational sports and facilities, cultural activities, and any charitable purpose that benefits disadvantaged communities. The majority of grants will be for less than $50,000, although larger grants will be made in exceptional circumstances. Applications can be submitted on a rolling basis throughout 2025.

The Dogwood Health Trust invites proposals to strengthen organizations, build capacity, and support innovation and collaboration within and among leaders and organizations in western North Carolina. The grant opportunity is open to organizations that advance Dogwood's strategic priorities of housing, education, economic opportunity, and/or health and wellness, and demonstrate a commitment to serve, engage with, and reflect the voices and lived experiences of disinvested and disconnected people and communities. The opportunity offers multi-year, general operating support that organizations can use to advance their core mission, build or grow programs, support advocacy or policy efforts, or other uses. Grants will range from $50,000 to $350,000 per year for up to two years. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charities of all sizes. The deadline for applications is April 4th 2025.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is seeking a Service Provider/Supplier to operate and enhance the IOC Young Leaders Programme. Launched in 2016, the programme empowers young talents to harness the power of sport to drive positive change in their communities. Since its inception, it has supported 145 IOC Young Leaders from 77 countries and territories, collectively delivering over 160 projects and impacting more than 55,000 individuals worldwide. The four-year programme provides participants with expert guidance, access to a global sport network, and seed funding of USD 10,000 to transform their ideas into impactful initiatives. The selected service provider will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy, overseeing operational delivery, designing selection processes, managing monitoring and evaluation, supporting 50 active IOC Young Leaders, and facilitating engagement opportunities. Organizations with experience in programme management, sport for development, impact measurement, stakeholder engagement, and operational management are invited to apply. The RFEI submission deadline is April 7th 2025 (midnight CET).
