So, let’s get into it:
The Boots Charitable Trust supports organisations across the UK working in the areas of health, lifelong learning, community development and social care. Awards of up to £10,000 per year are available for a variety of interventions, including those that promote social engagement, diversionary activities and community wellbeing. At least 50% of projects awarded each year must benefit people living in Nottinghamshire. Applications can be made on a quarterly basis, and the current application window closes on the 28th February.
Jingle Jam is the largest gaming and streaming fundraiser in the world, distributing in the region of £2m-£3m every year to selected charity partners (including Special Olympics GB last year). The 2024 Charity Partner application process is now open, welcoming project specific or unrestricted funding proposals from organisations working in fields including youth wellbeing, tackling discrimination, youth in crisis, and protecting the planet. Twelve charity partners were selected in 2023, receiving a share of £3.1m. To be eligible your organisation must be working nationwide in the UK or USA, or an international organisation working across multiple countries. The deadline for applications is February 29th.
UK-based supermarket Morrisons is looking for its next national charity partner for a three-year deal that, based on its current partnership with Together for Short Lives, could see it raise at least £10 million in this time. Prospective charity partners must demonstrate their ideas for a national partnership with a local feel that will engage colleagues and customers throughout the communities Morrisons serves. Money raised will be split between a new project or projects, and existing core services. Charities have until the closing date of Sunday 29 February to apply, and the partnership will start from 28 October 2024.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) is looking to appoint a Social Responsibility Provider to co-develop and deliver global Cricket 4 Good programmes that will positively impact the lives of children and families (with a focus on women and girls), by enabling them to participate in cricket during the period 2024-2027. Proposals are welcomed from charities, NGOs and other bodies that deal in the field of social impact/social responsibility, with extensive experience in successfully providing solutions, preferably in the field of sport, preferably to other comparable global bodies or sports federations. Helpfully, the RFP is vague on the funding available and the commissioning process is taking place extremely quickly. Detailed proposals must be submitted before February 23rd and a provider will be selected before March 11th.
