So, let’s get into it:

Only one month left to grab a ticket for the inaugural Sport Fundraising Summit, taking place in London on the 26th February 2025. The event features a variety of workshops and panel discussions featuring the likes of Adidas, Common Goal, the adidas Foundation, the International Olympic Committee, Comic Relief, Soccer Without Borders, the Generation Amazing Foundation and plenty more! The DFL Stiftung Foundation has just opened applications to its Future Skills programme, aimed at non-profit organisations based in Germany. Funding of up to €15,000 per is available for projects that use sport and physical activity to prepare young people for prosperous, active and creative futures. Successful applications will feature projects that develop young people’s ability to think critically, be creative, work as part of a team, and be resilient to the ever-changing, modern social climate. All funding applications must be received by March 1st, 2025.

The Bank of Scotland is accepting applications for its Empower funding programme. Eligible charities must have an annual income between £150,000 and £500,000 and at least three years of financial records with the OSCR. In 2025, the programme will focus on charities that support vulnerable groups, aiming to help them thrive beyond the grant period. Charities can apply for up to three years of unrestricted funding, with a maximum of £150,000 (£50,000 per year). The application deadline is February 12th.

Together Active is seeking a skilled copywriter with a passion for making physical activity accessible to everyone. The individual will be responsible for creating engaging, inclusive, and evidence-based content for "Active My Way" and the website. This project involves developing over 20 pages of clear and practical content, ensuring collaboration with the wider team while maintaining accessibility and readability for all users. The successful candidate will receive a fee of £10,000, and the deadline to apply is February 7th.

Grand Challenges Canada has launched a new initiative, the "Play Learn Thrive Fund," to address gaps in Early Childhood Development and Education in Emergencies. Supported by the LEGO Foundation, this funding aims to strengthen support systems for children aged birth to 12 years in complex crisis situations. To be eligible, organisations must have an active presence in at least one of four priority countries: Jordan, Lebanon, Kenya, or Uganda. There are two grant categories available: Proof of Concept (POC), providing funding of up to $250,000 CAD for a duration of up to 24 months. The application deadline for this grant is April 24th. Secondly, Transition to Scale (TTS) programme, offering funding ranging from $300,000 to $1,500,000 CAD for a period of up to 24 months, with the first application window also closing on April 24th but running up until November 27th.
