Registered charities and sports clubs seeking funding to run projects that address participation barriers in physical activity for disadvantaged young people are encouraged to apply. Projects must focus on grassroots involvement in sport, equipping young people with skills for long-term, positive outcomes, and engaging beneficiaries living in the most socioeconomically disadvantaged communities in the UK. Grants of up to £30,000 are available. Prospective applicants are advised to apply promptly, as the application window may close early.
The Al Madad Foundation is inviting applications from non-profit organisations working within arts and culture, education, social inclusion, children and youth, and/or humanitarian aid sectors. The fund aims to support institutions delivering creative and innovative solutions to problems facing children in the Middle East and Europe who have been affected by the Syria Crisis. Eligible organisations should be based within the Middle East and selected European countries, with priority given to Lebanon. Grants of up to £100,000 are available for up to three years, with applications closing on 4th March.
In the UK, the North West Anglia NHS Foundation is seeking organisations focused on improving healthy lifestyles, reducing frailty and social isolation, and tackling obesity through community education about healthy eating.
