Hello!

On The Ball is a fortnightly newsletter and digital platform sharing opportunities, tools, tricks, and templates to help you unlock new income for your business or non-profit in sport.

This week we have thirteen (!!) opportunities for you to consider, including:

- Seven grants and/or funding competitions
- One contract/supplier opportunity
- One industry event
- Three resources and/or tools
- One venture fund/investor

Don’t forget, only paid members get full access to the list plus 24/7 access to the On The Ball + digital hub featuring a full events calendar, grants database and more.

So, let’s get into it:

Opening on Monday 5th June, the lululemon Here to Be grants programme will offer unrestricted funding of up to $50,000 per award to community-led organisations in locations across the globe who are working to remove systemic barriers to physical and mental wellbeing. Applications from organisations with an annual budget of less than $2m are preferred, and you’ll need to check the list of 25 eligible countries before you apply. Submit a letter of intent before before June 30th.

The Oregon Sports Angels invest in companies and brands focused on anything an Athlete, Team or Sports fan can use or wear. Investments can range from $100k to $1m USD and are typically early stage, including seed and pre Series A rounds. Pitch days take place on a quarterly basis. To be considered for the August 2nd round, you’ll need to submit a deck in June or July.

Opening on July 3d, the Scott Bader Commonwealth Global Charity Fund awards funding of up to £10,000 to projects focused on education, poverty or the environment in communities where the company operates around the world including the UK, USA, South Africa, India and several other nations. First-time applicants are encouraged to apply for up to £4,000 only. The fund operates four application windows per year and the next deadline is August 28th.
