The West Wales Sport Partnership (WWSP) is looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation and Insight Development partner for its Innovation Fund. The goals of WWSP are to transform the physical activity landscape across Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, and Pembrokeshire by creating a more active and healthy region. The successful applicant will enhance WWSP's understanding of the sport and physical activity system across West Wales by growing its data and research capabilities, thereby enhancing the efficiency of projects within the Fund. Suitably qualified and experienced consultants/organisations who can deliver a holistic evaluation of the Innovation Fund 2025 are encouraged to apply for funding of up to £35,000. The deadline for all submissions is noon on March 17th 2025.
The Fossil Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Fossil group, is a global 501c3 nonprofit invested in helping young people ages 12-24 thrive in a rapidly evolving world. By partnering with and supporting visionary organisations, they are equipping the rising generation with the critical life skills they need to succeed. They partner with the world's leading social innovators to remove systemic barriers for young people. Their partners' work is highly strategic, with a focus on empowering individuals, uplifting communities and advancing change at the institutional level. The foundation's thematic interests include life skills support for young people aged 12-24 years, individual youth empowerment for social impact, and social innovation support of young people. They fund projects in the US and internationally, with a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and South-East Asia. BBC Children in Need's Pudsey Next Steps initiative is back and providing funding to support organisations working with children and young people across the UK. This grant is aimed at projects that help young people facing disadvantages, ensuring they have access to opportunities to thrive through sport, play, and creative activities. Grants of up to £40,000 are available for eligible organisations, with a focus on projects that demonstrate long-term impact. The deadline for applications is 31st May 2025.
ThinkSport and Anthropy Partners are collaborating to encourage start-ups and scale-ups across the world to engage in their Startup Competition which seeks to inspire and disrupt the Sports Industry. There are three categories for applications, the first being 'Engagement', which invites organisations with solutions that increase young people's engagement in youth sports. 'Accessibility' refers to solutions in AI, data science and computer vision that seek to make youth sports more accessible for children and parents. Finally, 'Safety' calls for organisations using applications and research to make youth sports safer and reduce injuries so that children can play more often and for longer. With three opportunities for funding, ranging from CHF 4,000 to 10,000 (cash or in-kind) and various supplementary prizes, prospective applicants must submit their application by 19th March 2025 for shortlisting the following week.
The Julian Grace Foundation is an entrepreneurial private foundation that does high-engagement grant making in order to create a just, unified and hopeful world. Grants are typically awarded in the following program areas: Educational Opportunity, Immigration & Human Rights, Environmental Protection, Preservation of Cultural Heritage, and Health. Their focus on educational opportunity supports programs that serve under-served, low-income, and minority communities in education, career training, and family development. All proposals are by invitation only currently; however, if you think your work might be of interest to them, you can submit a one-paragraph (250 words maximum) description of your work and link to your organisation's website using the contact form on their website. Please note that the Foundation is currently not able to partner with any new organisations outside of the United States of America. Grant proposals are due in April and September, with a decision made within 2-3 months following application.
