Funding of up to $1.5m CAD will be awarded over 15, 18 or 24 months to projects working to address country-specific personal, social, and/or environmental factors impacting young people's mental health and wellbeing. Proposals for the current round can be submitted until April 30th, with the next round closing on June 26th.
French development agency “AFD” are looking to select two consortiums of non-profit organisations - one in Latin America and one in Africa - to help manage and implement a fund to support local organisations working in the fields of gender-based violence and access to justice. The call is open to national and international non-profit organizations, civil society organizations (CSOs) from all over the world. Each regional lot has a budget of €3.92m. The call for proposals is open until June 5th. The lead organisation of the consortium applying for a lot must have an annual budget of more than €1.4 million.
The Triangle Trust’s latest grant round opens this month, this time focused on programmes supporting young women and girls who have been in the criminal justice system or who are at a high risk of entering it. Grants of between £10,000 and £80,000 for a duration of 12 months to two years are available, and the Trust has a long history of supporting sport for development based approaches through its funding portfolio. To be eligible for the latest round, organisations must be based in the UK and be led by and for women and girls. The round opens this month, with a future round taking place in September.
The Mayor of London’s Violence Reduction Unit is offering grants of between £20,000 and £50,000 to community-led organisations and groups across London to test new approaches and ideas to support vulnerable Londoners who are either at risk or have been involved in violence. Up to eight grants will be awarded to innovative projects that are not currently being delivered or tested elsewhere, have codesigned with community stakeholders, utilise or respond to new technologies, approaches, and trends, or have been implemented on a micro-level and can be scaled up. Eligible costs include staff salaries, overheads, capacity building costs, equipment, and support for programme participants to reduce barriers to engagement. The next deadline for applications is June 30th.
