The Abrdn charitable foundation is welcoming applications for Innovation grants. UK registered charities, social enterprises, and other nonprofit organisations who support young people aged 16-25. Priority will be given to applicants who have not previously been awarded funding from the foundation, but grants won’t be awarded for core or capital costs. To be eligible, charities must have an annual turnover of no more than £3 million, and single year grants of up to £50,000 are available. The deadline to apply for this funding window is this Friday, 15th of November.
Over in the Pacific, Team Up are inviting applications to the third round of the Play for Equity fund. They are looking to support innovative community initiatives that are aimed at advancing gender and disability justice in and through sport and play in the Pacific. This round of funding is looking to support groups and individuals based in the following countries: American Samoa, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Guam, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, and Vanuatu. At least 30% of available funds will go to applications with a focus on disability justice, and another 30% with a focus on PIDSOGIESC. Groups can apply for up to $15,000 AUD, individuals (18+) can apply for up to $8,000 AUD, and the deadline to submit a 2-5minute video is on the 1st of December.
The BGF Foundation supports ambitious, registered charities with an income of £1m-£3m who improve prospects for disadvantaged young people in business and innovation, education and employment, and physical and mental wellbeing. Funding and pro-bono expertise will support successful applicants to grow, become more resilient, and increase their impact. In the latest funding round, approximately 4-5 grants of £100k, split over two years, are available. Expressions of interest are being accepted until Friday 29th November at 5pm.
The Cymru Football Foundation are re-opening their Equipment Fund to support football clubs in Wales. The foundation's priority is making local clubs stronger and more sustainable, clubs can apply for expenditure including Pitch Maintenance Equipment, Goals, Storage Containers, and Security Fencing. Up to £25,000 can be applied for, and the the fund will open on the 18th of November
